General[ | ]

The Graviton Ray Turret is a Polaron Ray adapted for base defense, sharing similar properties.

It fires individual yellow bolts at opponents from medium range.

Strategy and Setup[ | ]

Advantages[ | ]

Graviton Ray Turrets have relatively long range when equipped with Focused Apertures. Combined with excellent projectile speed, this weapon is somewhat reliable against sniper attacks.

They also have no minimum range which is interesting for a long-range turret, and so can defend at close range against blitz attacks.

Disadvantages[ | ]

Similar to Thermal Ray Turrets, this weapon does not home in towards its targets, so damage is not guaranteed.

Graviton Ray Turrets have poor firepower, so even under optimal conditions, they are often destroyed before dealing significant damage. They are best used in conjunction with heavy-hitting turrets such as the HEX Missile Turret to confuse enemies and make them accidentally strafe into the shots that actually count.

Trivia[ | ]

  • The Graviton Ray Turret was once called the Heavy Polaron Beam, which had been renamed to Polaron Turret.
  • This weapon used to home in towards its targets but dealt even less damage.
  • The equipping time of all old blueprint items for bases was reduced by half during the May 2020 update.
